Rena Farajova has quickly brought new energy and cultural vibrancy to Regina through creativity, storytelling, and community connection. Since moving to Regina five years ago, she has helped create meaningful spaces where people of all ages can come together to celebrate culture, learn from one another, and feel a sense of belonging. As co-founder of the Azerbaijani Cultural Association of Regina (AzCAR), Rena has shared Azerbaijani traditions through dynamic performances, engaging workshops, and community events that have reached audiences across the city. She has also introduced children to Azerbaijani storytelling by translating and publishing fairy tales locally. Through her passion and initiative, Rena is helping make Regina a more connected, welcoming, and culturally rich community.
